Yay maria - yay yay yay... she is finally back on track with the whole potty training bit... she did really good yesterday and today... hopefully it will go smooth from here on out.

that said, she is into throwing fits these days - for stupid little stuff - like for example if she cant have 3 kinds of cereal in her bowl, or if she has the cup with the green lid instead of the yellow lid or stuff like that.

in any case - this too shall pass.

ive known about picassa for a long time - before google owned it, and had it on my system for a while back in 2003 - but then I didnt have it for a while, just re-installed it. It really is a great little program... and makes it super easy to blog pics...

For the rest of you, Candace is in Alabama with the youth group working with MDS to help with Hurricane Katrina rebuilding.

Last night we came home and had some supper - Mom was picking greenbeans and stuff from the garden, so maria ran outside to help... we all ended up hanging out on the swings till the mosquitos got too bad.

For some reason, when I asked Maria what she wanted to do, she said she wanted to play up in the attic... dont know why she brought that up, she hasnt been in the attic for like a year or something... maybe only once or twice in her lifetime... but we came across the McDonalds pretend playset, so thats her new favorite thing to play. It makes "french fries" out of bread 

i just stopped by to say... MAN I SUCK AT BLOGGING... i just have way too many things to do. ok... and the only thing I suck at more than blogging is updating the pictures on my home page... so anyway, I need to spend a little time with it - If I get determined... you know.

today i had to totally empty our our entire fridge, and freezer and unplug the thing for a couple of hours... for some reason it was not cooling properly, and I think it got ice in it and was sort of clogging up the works... in any case, it is a lot of work to empty a fridge, freezer and to clean it all out (it was pretty dirty) Im glad it is done, but it took a bunch of hours I wasnt expecting.

the girls keep me way busy... oh, and I was sick on wednesday... basically took care of the girls and laid around on the couch all day. mostly sinus issues - headaches and pressure and I think the medicine I was on really made me spacy and upset stomach and everything else... I really just had to lay there.

I did have the chance to find this scripture though:
PS 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house,

for he grants sleep to those he loves.

It made me sleep easy...
God will grant me the energy that I need to do His will. I just need to be a good steward and be plugged in to him to be able to hear his voice.
