i'm amazed sometimes at how many Christians have poor self image of themselves. The devil is a liar.

I see great things in people that they can't see themselves I think... and I am NOT really that good at articulating it or communicating it to them either. It always surprizes me when I see a young man, or young lady - who seems like they have so much going for them, BUT they think they are scum??? it doesn't make sense.

hmmm besides the devils lies what could it be??

maybe the media makes it worse. TV and Film, and magazines where everyone else seems perfect, and witty, and together...
BUT in reality no one has it all together.

maybe its worse for young people, because they are still discovering themselves... im not sure. I'm just sort of wondering outloud.

life is good. God is good despite my shortcomings.

Had a good meeting with fellow youth leaders on monday... restructuring some things - I'm excited about the summer - its gonna be a good year for youth ministry. I think there is a stiring in some people that will really motivate them to prayer, and to get serious about their spiritual lives. I believe kids are gonna get saved. And I believe our group is going to grow. Physically, and spiritually - so what more could I ask for?

Club Worship was on CNN last night. They are doing short segments on Faith in America - and thought a Christian club sounded strange... After watching the segment, They didn't do a horrible job of portraiting Club Worship, not a great job, but it could have been worse... So I am grateful for that. It seemed like they had tounge in cheek sort of side remarks etc. They don't really take the whole religion thing serious. I can't complain too much about getting national prime time coverage for Club Worship though. I think we represent God well, and honestly - we are real people. Gaby did a good job (they followed her around and interviewed her) Gaby rocks.
